Geography
Brazil is nearly half of South America. It is the continent's largest country [2965 sq. miles], and the fifth largest in the world. It borders every country in South America except Ecuador and Chile. Brazil has just 7,491 km (4,655 miles) on the Atlantic Coast. The Amazon River is an amazing geographical feature in Brazil. 60% of the Amazon River runs through Brazil. This river is very important to Brazilians because it is used in river systems, and is also a great way of transportation. The Amazon Basin is even cooler. It takes up more than 60% of Brazil. Filled with thousands of species of animals, the Amazon Basin leads to incredible discoveries. There are also many other mountains, lakes, rivers, and plateaus in Brazil.
Climate
During the summers, Brazil is really hot. Unexpectedly, there is no snow in the winter, only rain. Where ever you are in Brazil, The weather is always gorgeous.
